Happy Thursday Everyone!
So with the new year upon us, I thought it'd be an appropriate time to reflect and celebrate one of last year's big accomplishments-- Passing HB 1471 in North Dakota! The passage of this bill has allowed for greater education on the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) as well as the HPV Vaccine. The bill required the North Dakota Department of Health to create and distribute HPV informational materials in their public health facilities. And guess what? Those materials have been created and are currently being distributed throughout all of North Dakota's public health facilities. It was a great, BI-PARTISAN achievement on the part of the North Dakota Legislature and the Department of Health.
